About the program...

The Russian Phonetic course is designed for those who want to understand Russian speech and master the perfect Russian pronunciation.

You can start from any level of knowledge and the course contains the beginner level aswell.

The specific of the course is the facility to correct your pronunciation using the specially designed unique method of displaying the sound on the screen. The user can compare his/her pronunciation with the model sample not merely by ear but visually by the diagram, so the effectiveness of study remarkably increases. The part of words (phonemes) are isolated that enables you to see the specific mistakes in pronouncing sounds and correct them by training.

The course contains the theory data in order to assist the student to understand how to pronounce the sounds, how to read words and special combination.

The voiced vocabulary contains 8000 words.

The practice drills are combined on the gradient basis, i.e. they go from simple thing to more complicated step by step: from sounds to words, then to phrases, to dialogs on various subjects (shopping, ambulance, restaurant, taxi, custom, police), then to proverbs, to dictation, and finally to tongue twisters.
