Kaspersky Anti-Virus Business Optimal File Server Protection - WINDOWS/LINUX/NOVELL NETWARE
This solution protects file servers from all types of malicious code running Windows, Linux and Novell Netware operating systems.
For WINDOWS Server - This product provides two-tier data protection: an anti-virus monitor which scans all accessed, newly created and modified files in real-time, and an anti-virus scanner which scans data storage locations. The scanner can be launched either on demand or automatically according to a defined schedule.
- Kaspersky Administration kit offers centralised adminstration and management.
- Kaspersky Updater ensures easy downloading of database updates.
- Includes iChecker (Scanning is limited to those files which have changed since the preceding scan) and Script Checker Technology (prevents dangerous scripts from being executed on your PC).
For LINUX Server - Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Workstation is designed to detect all types of malicious code, including Java applets and ActiveX controls. When malicious code is detected, it can either be deleted from infected files, including files in tar and zip format, or the infected objects can be sent to the quarantine directory pending further analysis.
All system events are logged. Notification is automatically sent to system administrators when suspicious or infected files are detected. Notification includes the source and current location of the virus.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Workstations is fully integrated with the Webmin administration module, which provides tools for remote configuration and management of the programs.
Includes KAV Updater for easy downloading of the Anti-Virus database updates.
For NOVELL NETWARE - This solution provides full protection for file and application servers running under Novell NetWare. All file operations are scanned in real-time, with definitions for scanning tasks being set by the administrator. When infected and suspicious objects are detected, they can be deleted, treated or quarantined.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus is fully integrated with NDS (Novell Directory Service); system administrators can manage the program directly via the ConsoleOne control console.
Administrative functions include:
- centralized installation of the application.
- choosing standard settings, such as defining schedules.
- setting program and notification system parameters.
- tailoring responses to detected infection.
- load balance planning.
